Brief Biography
Ahmed is a dynamic Chief Information Officer with over 14 years of experience spanning academia and industry. He has led large-scale digital transformation initiatives, aligning technology, governance, and innovation with institutional strategy.
He began his career in technical and operational IT roles, building strong foundations in infrastructure and systems integration. He then advanced to leadership positions at Nile University, serving as Innovation Hub Director and Digital Transformation Director, where he drove smart campus initiatives, enterprise system integration, cybersecurity enhancement, and data-driven decision-making. As CIO, he spearheaded strategic IT governance, automation, and AI-enabled initiatives supporting the university’s 2024–2028 strategy.
