Brief Biography

Aya Hassani is a Delivery Director and Chief Information Officer (CIO) specializing in the electronic payments industry with extensive experience across project management, product management, PMO, and Testing & Quality Assurance, She has led complex banking and payment initiatives for financial institutions across Canada, the UK, Europe, Jordan, Australia, the UAE, and Africa, working both on‑site and remotely. Aya is based in Casablanca, Morocco.
Currently working as CIO for the Francophone Region at Network International, Aya manages a multi‑country project portfolio and leads distributed delivery teams across Jordan, Nigeria, Egypt, the UAE, and Morocco. Her scope includes service delivery for banks, financial institutions, and MNOs, covering prepaid, debit, and credit card programs, as well as scheme certifications (Visa, Mastercard, GIM) across the Francophone Region.

Achievements

Managed the Francophone project portfolio at Network International, ensuring alignment with business priorities and country rollout strategies.
Delivered high profile client solutions at Carta Worldwide, supporting major programs such as TransferWise, Sodexo, Uber, Nets, etc.
