Brief Biography
Dr. Adnan Mustafa Albar is an Associate Professor at King Abdulaziz University and the CIO at Batterjee Medical College since 2018, leading their digital educational transformation. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science (Mobile Computing) from the University of Sussex and an M.Sc. in Software Engineering from George Washington University.
Dr. Albar has held pivotal roles, including the first Chairman of the Information Systems Department at King Abdulaziz University and CIO at the General Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Protection. He has also consulted for the Saudi Geological Society and the Ministers of Council in Saudi Arabia.
He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of ACM, ISACA, and AIS. Dr. Albar has authored and translated several books on cloud computing, cybersecurity, and system analysis.
