With almost 25 years of experience in Information Technology, Jorge as CIO, is responsible for the IT team at Audi FAW NEV Company, based in Changchun, China.
He has a wide knowledge of the automotive sector and the need for solutions and services focused on guaranteeing and improving operation efficiency, business resilience and customer experience.
Jorge is a big fan of innovation and, even more, of attracting and leading high-performance talents in multicultural and diverse environments.
Achievements
Audi FAW NEV Company (2021 - to date) - CIO
Building the first plant of Audi in China.
Planning, implementation and operation of all the technology infrastructure, applications landscape and team build-up. Leading a +100 personal team from Germany, China, Mexico and Brazil.
Audi Mexico (2013 - 2021) - Head of digitalization
I was responsible for defining the digital strategy and accelerating the adoption and usage of new technologies.
I also participated in the construction of the first Audi plant in America.
