Brief Biography
Fahad is an accomplished IT and DT leader with 20+ years of experience leading teams and driving organizational growth, with a proven track record of success in creating innovative strategies, applying high standards of governance and quality, leading and directing large-scale initiatives, improving operational efficiency, and maximizing impact.
He holds a BSc in Computer Science from King Saud University, a MSc in Software Engineering and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southampton.
Currently, he is the CIO at Saudi Accreditation Centre, and his focus is establishing & building the center capabilities of IT & digital transformation to achieve its ambitious mission and strategic goals.
Recently, he has been chosen as one of the Top 100 Digital Transformation Leaders in the region by Exito, and one of GCC featured IT experts and leaders by Titans Magazine.
Achievements
Key achievements as a CIO at Saudi Accreditation Centre:
- Established & Built the capabilities of IT, CS & DT departments.
- Built the DT & CS strategies.
- Constructed the IT infrastructure & Data Centers.
- Managed several IT initiatives and projects, e.g. ERP, Accreditation System and BI.
- Built the EA for the center.
- Improved the percentage of national indicators in CS and DT between 30%-50%.
- Overseen all technology operations and evaluated them according to the goals.
