Kanat Sembiev

Kanat is an IT and cybersecurity professional with over a decade's experience in digital transformation and infrastructure development. He has worked at INHA University in Tashkent since 2014 and currently serves as Head of the Digital Development and Innovation Centre. Throughout his career, he has progressed from technical and operational roles to leadership positions, focusing on building secure IT environments, implementing modern technologies and driving innovation initiatives. His areas of expertise include cybersecurity, infrastructure architecture, and digital ecosystems. He started his career in IT, gaining hands-on experience in system administration and infrastructure, and later specialised in cybersecurity. He then progressed into roles focused on security operations, vulnerability assessment, and compliance.

Since 2014, he has spearheaded digital transformation initiatives at INHA University, with a focus on establishing secure IT environments and modern infrastructure. He and his team have implemented advanced cybersecurity strategies, including Zero Trust, DLP, and SIEM solutions. He has a proven track record of successfully managing high-tech projects, improving organisational resilience, and guiding teams in deploying scalable, secure, and innovative systems.
