The uniqueness of the project

In order to achieve the goals of the project, it was necessary to work on expanding and developing new functionality of the mobile application while maintaining the concept of omnichannel and seamless client experience. As a result, the new functionality of the application allows users to take advantage of the smart search for the desired product and the ability to purchase in a convenient way. There was a
convenient payment with shares from Tinkoff and Sberbank, through the SBP or with a bank card / Rive Gauche certificate. The mobile application allows users to select and deliver goods to the client by courier or to the nearest pickup point.

Project Description

Rive Gauche is a Russian perfumery and cosmetics chain that occupies a leading market position in the premium and luxury segments. Today the company has more than 240 stores throughout Russia and an online store covering the entire beauty segment.

The application is taken for support for the development of functionality. The implementation took place taking into account the tracking of trends in the relevance of world trends in design and the wishes of the customer. As a result, for the convenience of users, the UX / UI of the mobile application has been redesigned: Authorization, Main screen, Product card, Cart, Checkout, Catalog, Search, Promotions and coupons

New functionality has been developed:

  •  Search by QR code

  • New payment methods - payment by shares, SBP, etc.

  • Smart full text search

In the new version of the application, the UI / UX of the application, user path, authorization, main screen, section with promotions have been redesigned. Ideas were developed to create a chat bot, a smart search for users, as well as a separate application for company consultants. Now shopping in the RIVE GAUCHE store has become even easier and more enjoyable. After the release , the

number of purchases through the mobile application increased by 32% and the average purchase receipt through the mobile application increased by 27%

On November 30, the professional IT community GlobalCIO hosted a large-scaled international conference "Global CIO Insights: Digital Transformation with AI". During the event, leading experts shared their practical experience in launching projects utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and highlighted approaches that helped elevate their companies to new heights.

Voting for projects participating in the "Project of the Year" contest is open. The voting began on December 1st and will continue until January 15th inclusive. The winners will be announced on February 7th, 2024.

According to the statistics agency, the number of telecommunication and IT companies has increased 1.8 times in the last five years. At the beginning of 2023, there are more than 12 thousand ICT companies operating in the country. More than 100 thousand people are employed in the industry. At the end of 2022, the volume of ICT services grew by 125.5% and amounted to 22.9 trillion soums, of which 4.2 trillion soums were programming services provided by Uzbek companies and specialists. The total revenue of Uzbekistan's IT sector for the first quarter of 2023 reached 2.38 trillion soums - almost four times more than in the same period of 2022. Exports of digital services increased to $57.2 million. According to IT Park, net income amounted to more than 90% of revenue or 2.158 trillion soums.
