The uniqueness of the project
- As part of the project, an independent component of the corporate information infrastructure has been created by implementing functionality for managing the client database, tracking the history of each deal, and establishing a unified database of counterparties using the capabilities of the Bitrix24 system.
- Integration with Active Directory was carried out, where the company's structure is created and edited. Data from Active Directory is displayed in Bitrix24, and access to the portal for employees is provided through Active Directory accounts, which ensures centralized management of employee access.
- The system guarantees protection against unauthorized access and content modification through the standard tools of the web server and operating system used. The security of the platform, as well as the identification of vulnerabilities, is subject to systematic monitoring by both the Client and the Contractor, which includes subsequent measures to address any identified vulnerabilities.

During the integration of Bitrix24 and Active Directory (AD), it was necessary to transfer the company's structure with automatic updates so that all changes in AD would immediately reflect in Bitrix24. This functionality was not available, so the module was enhanced. Now:
1) Only departments with authorized employees are displayed on the portal.
2) A new employee on the portal automatically attracts their department.
We also cleaned up the old structure in AD and mapped user groups. Now, the information on the portal is current, and employees are added automatically upon authentication with their AD credentials.
The client planned to create funnels in the CRM for distributing deals across various areas. Since several employees handle requests, it was essential to have process control for all stakeholders. It was decided to separate the "CRM" into "Leads" and "Deals" with visibility rights delineation. Now, managers receive a complete picture, while employees are not distracted by unnecessary information and can add co-executors through the "Observer" feature.
- Project Description
-
QazCloud is a rapidly growing service company that provides support, maintenance, and modernization of IT infrastructure, as well as rental and hosting of virtual IT resources, data protection, and technical support for systems. The company operates in 17 regions of Kazakhstan and is a leader in cloud solutions thanks to its own infrastructure. With the growth in the number of employees and the increase in client interactions, there arose a need to create a unified information infrastructure.
The client, previously familiar with the Bitrix24 platform, turned to the IT integrator "First Bit." The purpose of the request was to create a unified portal to optimize business processes, improve internal communication, and enhance employee efficiency. The portal was to combine all necessary tools for project management, document flow, and interaction among various departments, as well as provide centralized access to the company's information and resources.
As part of the project, a "Bitrix Corporate Portal" license for 100 users was installed, followed by customization to meet the company's needs.
The specialists from First Bit implemented CRM functionality, including the entities "Lead" and "Deal," prepared processing stages, and provided fields for data entry. Additionally, list sections were created for storing information, and automatic data transfer from "Lead" to "Deal" was set up. Access rights to view the CRM section by department were configured, ensuring that each department can only see its own "Leads" and "Deals."
A report has been prepared with reference to the list values in the "Deal" for "Closing Financial Documents," along with an automatic calculation of the total project amount (excluding VAT) and the executed contract amount (excluding VAT).
Business processes have been developed:
1. The currency conversion process, in which the system automatically converts the amount according to the specified exchange rate when the dollar rate is entered.
2. The accounts receivable update process, during which the system calculates data based on the contract amounts (including the total contract amount and the executed contract amount) and outputs the accounts receivable value. The obtained data is displayed in the Deals report.
Integration with Active Directory—a user and resource management system—was also established.
As a result of the successful implementation, QazCloud was able to optimize its internal processes and significantly improve the quality of customer service.
Currently, the client is being supported by "First Bit." A new project is now being discussed to transfer the ITSM (Service Desk) functionality for processing internal and external requests in the technical support departments of QazCloud.
