Goals
The need exists for an end-to-end automated Learning Management System solution at Ramoji Academy of Movies. This setup would handle everything from start to finish. It needs to feature automatic evaluation for subjective answers. That way, instant scoring becomes possible. Time gets saved in the process. Manual evaluation by professionals drops off quite a bit. The whole thing aims to automized the operations there and speed up the subjective answers evaluation.
Project Results

We have been able to implement the project successfully and have attained the desired results, which are as follows:

  • End-to-end process automation – providing smooth execution with minimal human intervention in all functional modules.

  • Automated grading of multilingual subjective responses – using AI-based technology to evaluate responses with precision and speed in various languages.

  • Automated student support and notification – facilitating real-time support and reminders through system-generated messages, thereby increasing user engagement and response.

  • This deployment has greatly enhanced the efficiency of operations, minimized manual work, and improved the overall learning process for students.

The uniqueness of the project

We have been able to successfully deploy the RAM-LMS project as an entirely end-to-end automated system with negligible human intervention. The platform effortlessly automates the whole process — from awarding access to registered students, opening the appropriate language chapters, and automatically giving a mark of completion at course completion, to dynamically creating and emailing distinctive examination credentials to every student.

The system also uses Generative AI (Gen-AI) for multilingual test paper grading with high accuracy and consistency, minimizing effort, operating time, and dependency on resources. This automation significantly improved overall efficiency and scalability of the learning management process.

Used software

This project was built over a solid technology stack consisting of PHP with CodeIgniter and backed by a PostgreSQL database for sound data management and PDF encryption for safe document processing.

With regard to hardware and infrastructure, the application has been hosted on cloud servers, utilizing compute services, file storage systems, and a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to provide high availability, scalability, and optimal performance geographically.

This structure delivers a secure, dependable, and extensible platform able to support dynamic workloads while keeping data consistency and system performance.

Difficulty of implementation

Challenges arose in several areas. Protecting course materials from unauthorized access required careful planning. Implementing AI for automated grading of subjective responses also presented difficulties. Evidence from similar projects indicates these issues often slow down development. Still, progress could be made with targeted solutions.

Project Description
This has been created specifically for RAM – Ramoji Academy of Movies Learning Management System (LMS). It provides an end-to-end suite of courses dealing with different movie-making and production aspects.

The LMS is available in eight Indian languages, including English, which allows learners from different linguistic backgrounds to view content in their language of choice. Courses are only accessible to enrolled students by using a secure authentication process, promoting data confidentiality and usage under control.

After finishing every chapter, students have to appear for an online test. The system automatically marks the subjective answer sheets with an integrated AI-based marking engine, and the results are instantly displayed to the concerned students. After evaluation is finished, the system automatically opens the subsequent chapter, and the student can continue his learning process uninterruptedly until the end of the course.

This end-to-end automation increases learning productivity, guarantees equity in assessment, and provides a seamless, engaging experience for the learner throughout the course

Project geography

This initiative was created and rolled out initially to serve Indian students, meeting local learning demands and enabling various Indian languages. Nevertheless, it has gained the interest of foreign learners, and a number of international students have been successfully registered and using the LMS platform.

This shows that the system is indeed accessible globally, scalable, and easy to use, allowing it to be flexible enough for various types of learners outside its original targeted clientele.
