The project's goal was to ensure legal and cost-effective export of cosmetic products from Indonesia to Russia by implementing the "Chestny ZNAK" (Honest Mark) marking system directly at the manufacturing facility. The main task was to automate the process of applying, tracking, and registering marking codes for over 2 million product units within a tight deadline of just one month.
The project allowed the company to avoid additional customs marking expenses (up to 10 rubles per unit), ensure full compliance with Russian legislation requirements, and create a foundation for further digitalization of the factory's production processes.
- Project Results
-
-
Implemented the "Honest Mark" marking system at a production facility in Indonesia
-
Ensured marking of over 2 million product units in compliance with Russian Federation legislation
-
Reduced operational costs by 35%
-
Completely eliminated external marking expenses (up to 10 rubles per unit)
-
Set up integration between 1C, Cleverence system, and Zebra equipment
-
Trained the client's English-speaking staff who had no prior experience with Russian ERP systems
-
Created a foundation for scaling the solution to other markets and product categories
-
The uniqueness of the project
This project became one of the first international cases of implementing the "Honest Mark" system in a production environment outside Russia. All work was conducted entirely remotely, without on-site visits by specialists, with training and process setup conducted in English for the Indonesian team.
Cultural and organizational differences were taken into account: time zone differences, production discipline specifics, and language barriers. The "Perviy Bit" (First Bit) team delivered a complete implementation cycle — from selecting compatible equipment (Zebra mobile computers, printers, Cleverence system) to integration with "1C:Comprehensive Automation" and cloud-based "1C:Accounting."

- Difficulty of implementation
-
The project had a high degree of complexity due to its international format, tight deadlines, and the client's lack of existing digital infrastructure. Main challenges:
-
Remote implementation without physical team presence on site
-
Architecture and integration development considering Asian equipment market limitations
-
Ensuring proper 1C operation remotely with large data volumes
-
Overcoming cultural and language barriers in communication
-
Working with time zone differences and the partner's short working day
Despite all this, the four-person project team completed the task in record time. The solution became an example of successful international 1C implementation and confirmed the flexibility and expertise of "Perviy Bit" in the areas of product marking and cross-border projects.

- Project Description
-
Nova LLC is a cosmetic products manufacturer from Indonesia that supplies soap and household chemicals to the Russian market. With the introduction of mandatory product marking, the "Honest Mark" system became a necessary condition for imports. Without it, goods could not pass customs clearance.
Previously, the factory had no digital accounting systems. Production processes were handled manually, and employees did not speak Russian. The "Perviy Bit" team faced the task of implementing a marking and accounting system compliant with Russian legislation within one month to avoid downtime and penalties.
The following stages were implemented:
Solution Architecture Development: The industry solution "1C:Comprehensive Automation" was selected, integrated with "1C:Accounting (cloud)" and the Cleverence system for marking tracking.
Equipment Integration: Mobile data terminals (Zebra MDT) and printers were connected, selected from models available in the Asian market.
Remote Access Setup: Work was conducted through Russian servers with remote access from Indonesia.
Staff Training: Materials and instructions were translated into English and adapted to the employees' skill level.
Testing and Launch: Within 30 days, the system was fully operational; the first batches of goods were successfully marked and shipped to Russia.
During implementation, technological challenges arose:
-
High server load when ordering and processing over 100,000 marking codes
-
Need for prompt server equipment replacement during operations
-
Aggregation errors in the Cleverence system, resolved jointly with the developer
-
Organizational differences and limited working hours in Indonesia, requiring coordination with Moscow time (meetings starting at 5:00 AM)
Despite all difficulties, the project was completed on schedule, without site visits, with full digitalization of the marking process at the factory.
