Google Unveils New Pixel 9 Smartphones with AI Support

Google has unveiled its new Pixel 9 series smartphones, which include four models: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro feature 6.3-inch 120Hz OLED displays with a resolution of 1080x2424 pixels (base) and 1280x2856 pixels (Pro). The Pixel 9 Pro XL has a larger 6.8-inch display with a resolution of 1344x2992 pixels.

All devices are powered by Google's proprietary Tensor G4 processor. The Pixel 9 has 12GB of RAM, while the Pro and Pro XL come with 16GB.

The cameras on the new smartphones are also impressive. The Pixel 9 has a 50MP main camera and an additional 48MP ultra-wide module. The Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL have a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide sensor, and a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. The front cameras have a resolution of 10.5MP and 42MP, respectively.

The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro smartphones are equipped with 4,558 mAh batteries, while the larger model uses a 4,942 mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging.

The special feature of these devices is the use of proprietary Google AI artificial intelligence technologies. They include the Pixel Studio image generator and the Pixel Screenshots function, which allows you to store the history of your smartphone use in the form of screenshots. Owners of these gadgets will also be able to use the advanced version of the Gemini Advanced artificial intelligence for free for a year.

The smartphones support an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, satellite communications and have IP68 dust and water protection.

Pre-orders for the new models are now open: the Pixel 9 costs $799, the Pro costs $999, and the Pro XL costs $1,099.
