OpenAI is preparing a Strawberry model with human-like analytical skills. It could cost $2,000
OpenAI is preparing a more powerful AI model called "Strawberry," and if rumors are true, the premium subscription price could rise from $20 to $2,000.
The Strawberry model is capable of solving complex problems that require human-like thinking (such as complex math problems or marketing strategies). In championship-level math tests, Strawberry scores above 90%, significantly better than GPT-4 (53%) and GPT-4o (76.6%).
Such developments require huge investments, and OpenAI already spends about $700,000 per day to support ChatGPT.
"Strawberry" could be an important step towards artificial general intelligence (AGI).
AGI are systems that are generally smarter than humans and can significantly improve society, the economy, and drive scientific discovery. However, AGI also carries risks such as misuse, accidents and social disruption.

The release of "Strawberry" is expected in the fall, if insiders are to be believed.
At the moment, almost all startups funded by Y Combinator are implementing artificial intelligence ( Top 100 Analytics Startups list ). Such technologies are becoming an important part of the work, and "Strawberry" can set a new standard in this area.
