The opening of the center is an important step towards the implementation of priority areas and promising goals outlined in the strategies Uzbekistan - 2030 and Digital Uzbekistan - 2030.

It is worth noting that one of the main goals of the center is to attract Chinese IT companies and international grants to Uzbekistan, as well as to expand the export of domestic digital services and IT products.

The ceremony included a presentation on IT Park's plans to enter the Chinese market, the IT services offered, tax incentives, personnel training programs, as well as digital reforms and large-scale projects being carried out in Uzbekistan.

The center's activities are organized in partnership with Shanghai Oriental Credits Industrial Development Co., Ltd.

The center is located in a four-story building. The first floor is allocated for its work, where there are two conference halls, a reception area, and a specialized exhibition area for demonstrating domestic IT products.

Uzbek students studying in Shanghai will be able to participate in the permanent work of the center. They will be able to participate in the preparation of information materials aimed at promoting national ICT projects, IT solutions of system organizations and services of domestic companies.

As part of the Digital World project, implemented by the Ministry of Digital Technologies, citizens who voluntarily join the activities of the center will be able to receive the status of “IT Ambassador”.
