Microsoft has expanded its Azure cloud platform infrastructure by opening a hyperscale data center in Doha, Qatar. The project was announced back in 2019. The construction was supposed to be completed last year, but the work was delayed due to the pandemic. In the near future, a new cloud region with multiple availability zones will open to users around the world. The project will create about 20 thousand new jobs, and over the next five years, Microsoft will train 50 thousand people as part of this initiative
