 More than 12,000 Internet crimes have been recorded in Kazakhstan since the beginning of the year. The total damage from them amounted to seven billion tenge. The largest registration of Internet fraud is noted in Nur-Sultan - 2,295, Almaty - 1,486 and Karaganda region - 1,150. Against the background of such statistics, Kazakhstan offered the SCO countries to jointly fight against Internet fraud. According to the head of the Kazakh Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the modern world, when crime penetrates into digital spheres, cybercrime has become one of the most serious security threats.
