According to analysts at DigiTimes Research, in the second quarter of this year, global server shipments increased by only 3.3% compared to the first quarter of 2022.
In April–June, there was a shortage of integrated power management circuits and certain components for servers. In addition, the work of logistics chains was disrupted.
Nevertheless, server shipments are expected to grow by approximately 5.2% in the third quarter due to deferred orders from operators of large data centers. It is also predicted that the demand for servers in the period from July to September inclusive will remain stable in the light of the ongoing development of cloud platforms, as well as equipment purchases by corporate customers.
