Subsea Cloud company intends to offer commercial users the capacity of its first underwater data center Jules Verne

Subsea Cloud company intends to offer commercial users the capacity of its first underwater data center Jules Verne, the construction of which is planned off the coast of the United States.

It is expected that a 1 MW data center will be 90% more profitable than comparable ground structures. Its commissioning is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2022. The main advantage of the new data center will be its location near urban agglomerations off the coast of Port Angeles, Washington, which will reduce the level of delay and at the same time save money, since land in cities is expensive.

The data center will be open for all potential customers to familiarize themselves with, but there are unlikely to be many of them, since it is created mainly for demonstration purposes.
