Kazpost to build an innovative hub terminal at Aktobe Airport

A bilateral memorandum on the implementation of the construction of an innovative postal terminal, as well as on the expansion of the activities of the national postal operator in the Aktobe region was signed by Akim of the region Yeraly Tugzhanov and Chairman of the Board of JSC "Kazpost" Asel Zhanasova.

It is planned to provide Kazpost JSC with a land plot on the territory of the airport for the construction of an innovative postal hub terminal. This decision will become an important mechanism for increasing the competitiveness of business in Kazakhstan, the development of logistics within the region and beyond. In addition, it will speed up the processing of airmail, which is especially important given the growing popularity of online commerce among Kazakhstanis.

Also during the meeting, a second agreement was signed providing for the expansion of Kazpost's activities in the Aktobe region and the preservation of a network of production facilities in the region. The document addresses the issue of participation of JSC "Kazpost" in state, industry and regional development programs, the possibility of providing premises free of charge in rural areas, assistance in attracting small and medium-sized businesses to provide postal and financial services.
