In the context of dynamic market development and rapid changes in legislation, the Umai Group company, which is the leader and largest FMCG operator in the Kyrgyz market, realized the need to improve management processes and optimize work with personnel. Given the scale of the business and the existing infrastructure, the management of Umai Group turned to finding a reliable partner to implement the project to introduce a new HR management and payroll system. The presentation of the management of the Umai Group of Companies was focused on the need to switch to a more modern version of the software for effective accounting of HR management, payroll and personnel records. In the pre-project phase, a decision was made to use the software product "1C:Salary HR Management CORP".The plans for the implementation of the system are due to the following factors:
- Lack of functionality of the current system to fully cover the company's business processes. Some of the functionality of the current system remained unused, which interfered with full-fledged resource management.
- Lack of data consistency. Some information was generated in Excel format, while other information was entered into various systems; there was no centralized data storage, which made it difficult to quickly access the necessary information.
- The need to automate personnel management and maintain a staffing schedule. At the start of the project, these processes were carried out manually, which slowed down their execution and increased the likelihood of errors.
- Using an outdated version of the software product "1C: Salary Personnel Management", which limited the possibilities for optimization and effective data management.
- Removing support for the current obsolete version of the software product "1C: Salary Personnel Management", which increased the risk of technical problems and ensured the need to switch to a more modern platform.
- The lack of qualified specialists at the customer to support and adapt the current version of the software product "1C: Salary Personnel Management". This created the need for external support and personnel training for the successful implementation of the new system.
