The primary goal was to simplify and modernize Mead Johnson Nutrition’s landscape to Cloud by implementing SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for Integration and Application Development services. This initiative aimed to drive operational excellence, enhance consumer-centricity, and establish a scalable, cloud-native foundation for future innovation. By consolidating legacy systems, adopting an API-led architecture, and building a unified user experience, the project sought to improve system resilience, reduce costs by enabling clean core, and unlock cross-functional value across Supply, Finance, Procurement, and Digital.

The project delivered $200K in annual cost savings by retiring legacy systems and protected $17M in revenue during a critical outage. It improved e-commerce order turnaround times, enhanced operational efficiency, and established a resilient, cloud-native architecture with near-zero downtime. The scalable platform now supports multiple business functions and enables real-time reporting, automated alerts, and centralized monitoring, positioning the company for future innovation.
We are building dashboards using CAPM and BAS powered by Joule. We are in the pilot process to automate invoice processing by scanning Outlook attachments, extracting details with AI, and posting accurate invoices to SAP S/4HANA. Low-confidence cases trigger an approval flow for manual review, reducing effort and improving accuracy.

This project stands out for its strategic consolidation of 1,000+ interfaces and 400+ business partners into a single cloud-native platform, retiring legacy systems like SAP PO and BODS along with Legacy Data lakes like EMDR & RADW. It uniquely combined entrepreneurial agility with relentless execution, enabling real-time reporting, automated failure alerts, and near-zero downtime. The architecture’s resilience was proven during a critical network outage, preventing a $17M revenue loss. Its future-ready design supports deep tech capabilities and cross-functional scalability.

The BTP Cloud Modernization project was a strategic digital transformation initiative aimed at simplifying and modernizing Mead Johnson Nutrition’s integration landscape. At its core was the implementation of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for Integration and Application Development, which replaced multiple legacy middleware systems with a unified, cloud-native architecture and enabled a unified customer experience.
The project consolidated approximately 1,000 interfaces and over 400 business partners, retiring legacy components such as SAP PO, BODS, EMDR, RADW, and Apache Proxy. The integration of IHG Cloud Connector for Ariba further enhanced procurement capabilities. This resulted in a streamlined architecture with minimal latency, near-zero downtime, and 24/7 availability. The adoption of an API-led architecture and microservices ensured scalability and future-readiness.
A standout use case was the integration of Veeva CRM for Medical Sales, which previously relied on multiple middleware layers. The new framework enabled real-time reporting, reduced latency, and introduced automated failure notifications.
The project also helped in enabling Fiori applications for an enhanced user experience. Multiple cloud applications were deployed, including Work Zone, Build Code, BAS, Build Process Automation, Document AI, SAP Joule and Cloud ALM for centralized change monitoring and control. By implementing these services, we have enabled a platform for leveraging in-built AI capabilities as well as low code/ no code platforms for agile, efficient business processes.
Joule makes SAP interactions smarter and faster. We have used it to enhance Fiori apps for better decision-making and to accelerate IT development. Work Zone provides a single entry point for SAP and third-party apps. We are integrating Fiori apps so users can view dashboards, process transactions, and manage tasks from one central launchpad.
It also laid the foundation for future innovation across Supply, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, R&D, Quality, and HR functions. The transformation was driven by a growth mindset, entrepreneurial agility, and relentless execution, positioning the organization for scalable, secure, and consumer-centric operations.
